Three hurt in cylinder blast

MARDAN, Feb 11: Three persons were injured when a cylinder fitted in a passenger coach blew up at a CNG station at the Muqam chowk on Mardan-Swabi Road here on Monday.

Eyewitnesses and officials of the city police station said the incident occurred when the vehicle (LSB-2811) was getting refilled.

As a result of the blast, three passengers sitting inside the coach received burn injuries and were taken to the district headquarters hospital Mardan, where their condition was stated to be out of danger.—Correspondent
