KARACHI is currently going through many problems like targeted killings, ethnic violence, and other problems. One of them is carrying illegal weapons by the people.

These people do not have licensed weapons that can create many troubles for the law-enforcement agencies and, of course, the police force. But no one is able to find and punish them as they are quite influential people of our society.

The other side of the picture is that if someone wants to get their arms licence, they have to face a plethora of troubles.

When a common man visits the office of arms licence, first he has to face the bad attitude of the staff.

They are always in a bad mood and never answer your question twice. Then they start shuffling you from one desk to another. One of the staff members will ask you to see the other staff member and you will keep moving on from one counter to another.

In the end, one of the dedicated staff members will tell you that the person who is responsible for arms licence is not present today.

This is the worst thing about our institutions that they are corrupt. This is really disappointing that people are deputed with such bad attitude at these offices.

In such case, the people will find it difficult to have licensed weapons. Instead, people will find it easier to keep an unlicensed weapon at home.
