ISLAMABAD: A high level meeting was held at the Presidency on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Balochistan, especially the Kirani road incident, attended by the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, DawnNews reported.

During the meeting it was decided that stringent measures would be taken for the elimination of terrorism and the resumption of law and order.

Army chief General Kayani briefed the President and Prime Minister on the overall situation of the country's  internal security.
