LAHORE: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) Dr Tahirul Qadri on Tuesday said there was a conspiracy being hatched to separate Balochistan province from the rest of Pakistan.

Speaking during a press conference at Minhajul Quran secretariat, he said the judiciary took suo motu notice but it made no change while civil institutions had also failed to maintain peace in Quetta.

Qadri said that Quetta should be handed over to Pakistan Army to control law and order situation.

“Pakistan was not created for terrorists,” he said and added that Pakistan and terrorists could not live together. He said that protests should be continued till the arrest of terrorists.

He said the government could not control law and order situation, adding that terrorists were a threat to the country's stability and solidarity.

The PAT chief urged the party workers to participate in sit-ins and protest rallies against the killings of Hazara people in Quetta.
