The 9th International Poetry Festival honours the Nicaraguan poet, priest and former Nicaragua’s Culture Minister, Ernesto Cardenal, who also won the Queen Sofia Prize of 2012. A carnival-alike celebration was held in Granada, Nicaragua, attended by more than 300 poets from around the world. —Photos by Agencies
