LAHORE: At least 21 children and a teacher were injured in a fire at a private school in Lahore on Thursday, DawnNews reported.

The school in Lahore's Shahdarra Town was sealed and a case was registered against its principal.

The injured include 10 male students and 11 female students, some of whom were shifted to the Mayo Hospital for treatment.

Officials from the government who visited the injured students at the hospital said the incident was the result of negligence on part of the school administration.
