KARACHI, Feb 21: A ship carrying 55,000 tons of Australian iron ore started unloading at the Port Qasim Pakistan Steel Jetty on Thursday.
Pakistan Steel spokesman said a letter of credit (LC) of $8.3 million had opened with M/S Cargill International for this consignment.
The PS management signed three contracts, each of 55,000 tons of iron ore with two companies of Singapore including M/S Cargill and M/S Swiss Singapore after floating several tenders.
