MUZAFFARGARH, Feb 23: PPP MNA Jamshed Dasti launched on Saturday a free bus service for the residents of NA-177 (the constituency of Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar).

The bus will run from Sanawan to Muzaffargarh city area.

Dasti said he would contest election against Ms Khar. “If PPP does not award ticket to me, I will contest the election as an independent candidate.”

On Saturday, some local PPP activists protested against Dasti, saying that he was violating party discipline.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said Dasti had disappointed him as the buses were provided by him for the people and not for ‘anti-PPP work.’

He said Hina Rabbani Khar would contest from PPP platform in NA-177. Ex-MNA Malik Noor Rabbani Khar, father of Hina Khar, claimed that he had informed the PPP leadership and the government would impound these buses soon.
