Misuse of cellphones
From the Newspaper | 24th February, 2013
A survey has showed that 60 per cent of our youngsters send and receive more than 125 text messages daily to interact with their peer group.
Our youngsters send SMS during their study hours even in colleges, universities and other educational institutes.
The SMS packages waste time and money, especially night packages have made the young people addicted to text messaging and they spend the whole night without getting any sleep.
The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority should seriously try to resolve this issue to save out future generations.

Youngsters and teens are more guilty for sure but middle aged are also not far behind. To add to this nonsense we see paople using cell phones in Masajid too, mostly for messaging purpose but even during namaz timings . PTA does not pay any heed to this menace simply because the govt looks the other way, rather it is interested in seeing that the cell companies’ bosses are not displeased. To hell with disturbance in sleep or education as it has never ever been on priority list of our governments whether democratic or dictatorship.
Instead of having bans and ending SMS packages, why not have a more efficient solution. I suggest placing jammers on university buildings which would nullify the use of cell phones.
I have seen this method applied in some masjids to good effect.
i think there should be bane of every type pakage.and there should also bane to use mobile in schools, colleges and even in universities.because during the lecture mostly students don,t compete consontrate on there study.thats why they waste lot of there time .so thats why mobile shoud be baned.
