Tensions between Islamists and nationalist bloggers heighten in Dhaka over the work of a war crimes tribunal trying Islamist leaders for war crimes. – Video by Reuters
I wasn’t expecting a Pakistani Newspaper betraying those who supported Pakistan with their blood being called Islamists. Shame on you!!! I hope this was a genuine mistake..
if Islamist is the violence in the name of Allah(Astagfirullah) then what would you call some one who do good deeds in the name of Allah
How can a newspaper which was supposedly started to help the first Islamist movement in subcontinent use thewords Islamist and Nationalist as two seperate entities to describe the Muslims of same country. I sincerely hope tht u guys at DAWN havn,t totally lost the plot as yet.
Dawn is very sub-servient to its masters – the white, corrupt, and scandalous press. Islamist is a person who believes in the spirit of Islam. I do too; but I am not one to force my views, what ever they are, on whoever they are. I give my opinion, and make suggestions. I also listen to others’ opinions and any suggestions they have. We all make our own decisions. The rest is for Allah, the true Judge. Shame on Dawn!
The ‘term’ Islamist is derogatory. It literally refers to ‘followers of Islam’, while you’re intending to refer to Muslim radicals … or not?
DAWN tows too much to western media these days to be considered a Pakistani newspaper.
i am very disappointed when DAWN use the word ISLAMISTS for any reason. i fail to understand what this ISLAMIST means , can any one help me out
Read the Quran and Hadith
Violence in the name of God … is it Islam?
I think you got it. How many people have to be blown up before they get it?
