LAHORE, Feb 24: PPP Central Punjab President Manzoor Wattoo asked the PML-N on Sunday to start consultation on provincial caretaker set-up with opposition parties and other stakeholders including the PML-Q.

In a statement, he said since the PML-N was required to consult with opposition parties about formation of the caretaker government in Punjab under the Constitution, it should immediately start doing so. Wattoo also invited the PML-N to consult with the PPP and other coalition partners on the interim set-up in the Centre.

Criticising the Punjab government, Wattoo termed Shahbaz Sharif’s five-year tenure a one-man show. “Shahbaz Sharif during his stint attended the assembly session for five times,” he claimed, adding that Shahbaz would be remembered as a ‘democratic dictator.’
