KARACHI, Feb 25: An activist of a religious party was gunned down on Monday night.

According to police, gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on 30-year-old Mufti Abdullah in Orangi Town’s Faqeer Colony. He was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

SSP West Asif Ajaz Shaikh said Mufti Abdullah was not linked to any proscribed outfit. Later JUI-F’s Karachi chief Qari Usman said Mufti Abdullah was a member of his party and strongly condemned the killing.
