PESHAWAR: The Central Naib (deputy) Ameer of the Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq was arrested in Dir area on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

The JI leader was booked for holding a rally a few years ago which callied for an end to the military operation that was being conducted in Bajaur at that time.
