LAHORE, March 2: Istanbul Mayor Kadir Topbas has said the Metro Bus project has transformed the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey into a solid reality.

In his letter, the mayor while paying rich tributes to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed his belief that contrary to the past, instead of only jugglery of words in the name of brotherly relations, ties between the two countries would yield positive results in future.

According to a handout issued on Saturday, Topbas said Punjab would make bigger achievements than the Metro Bus project under the leadership of CM Shahbaz and the hard work of his team.

He said the commitment and dynamic leadership displayed by the CM during the construction of the project would become an everlasting movement of exemplary cooperation between the people of both the countries in the future.
