The lad who became ‘world’ famous for singing the song One Pound Fish in the UK as a fish monger has now also caught the eye of his countrymen.

Tell you what, Shahid Nazir’s performance and behaviour on Huma Amir’s show last Saturday won him a great many fans in his own country. He is humble, down to earth (not fishy at all) and can belt out a tune at the drop of a hat.

When Huma A requested him to sing a song for her, he crooned out a pretty decent number. Apparently he has struck a deal with Warner Brothers and will soon be cutting an album. Way to go, Shahid N!
