AS a spokesperson for the US State Department, Victoria Nuland has every right to speak on behalf of the US government and suggest that there are better and more cost-effective ways than implementing Pakistan-Iran pipeline project to meet Pakistan’s energy needs.
However, since Pakistan is a sovereign and independent country and also a UN member, it has every right to take decision in this respect, whatever the consequences.
