SUKKUR, March 9: Two persons were killed over an old enmity between two groups of the Buledi community in the village of Barkat Ali Buledi in Taluka Garhi Khero of district Jacobabad on Saturday evening.

According to reports, Chanesar alias Chanoo Buledi was sitting in a restaurant in the village when accused Saddam Hussain Buledi shot him dead.

When information about the killing reached relatives of Chanesar, they killed Sawan Buledi, father of accused Saddam, and fled.

Doda Pur police reached the spots and took the bodies to a hospital for a post mortem.

Panic was prevailed in the village after the two killings.

Police have set up a temporary police picket in the area to avert any further clash.

No case of the incident was registered till filing of this report.

Burial of the two deceased would be held on Sunday morning in their native village amid police security.

MAN KILLED: A young man was gunned down by unidentified armed persons nearby Taluka Municipal Office in Jacobabad on Saturday.

According to reports, Naveed Ahmed, son of Waheed Ali Noonari, resident of the village of Ojhi Noonari in taluka Thull, was going home after attending a hearing court proceeding when he was shot dead near the municipal office.

Local police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Civil Hospital of Jacobabad. After two hours, relatives of the deceased arrived and the body was handed over to them after a post mortem. The body was taken to Ojhi Noonari for burial.

Sources said 18 months ago, a young man of the Bugti community had been killed and the case of the murder had been registered against Naveed Ahmed.

No case of the killing was registered till filing of this report.
