LAHORE, March 10: Police released 55 Christian protesters taken into custody in connection with the ransacking of Metro Bus Yohannaabad station and some public property near IT Tower, Kot Lakhpat, on Sunday.

A senior police officer told Dawn that the release had been ordered by the chief minister as a goodwill gesture.—Staff Reporter
