KARACHI, March 13: Leader of Opposition in Sindh Assembly Syed Sardar Ahmad has said the opposition parliamentary parties have completed consultation for the slot of caretaker chief minister.

Mr Ahmad, however, did not divulge names which were under consideration.

Talking to journalists after the assembly session on Wednesday, he said that the PML-F’s Jam Madad Ali and the NPP’s Masroor Jatoi had met him jointly and suggested three names.

Later, PML-L leader Razzaq Rahimoo also met him and recommended three names.

These names would now be discussed in the party and finalised before submitting to the government in a day or two, he said.

According to sources, the PML-F and NPP have suggested the names of Abdullah Hussain Haroon, Khair Mohammad Junejo and Mohammad Aslam Sanjrani while the PML-L has recommended retired Justice Syed Sajjad Ali Shah, Dr Mohammad Azim Almani and retired Justice Sadiq Leghari for the office of caretaker chief minister.
