IT has always been a practice by the respective boards of education that once the exams are over, results are announced in newspapers after which the mark sheets are dispatched to the respective colleges, minus the answer sheets. This was a reasonable practice for various reasons when it was formulated and till about a decade or so after it.

If the student feels that he has been victimized the only option left is scrutiny.

We all know what happens therein thereafter and how the marks get scrutinised. It’s an open secret.

Had we been living in a corruption-free environment, such a need would have never existed.

Bribe is a crime that can either be reported by the person being bribed or by the person giving the bribe.

Such a state of affairs is tantamount to ruining the future/careers of bright students and illegal elevation of otherwise.

May the authorities kindly reply as to why the said practice of returning the answer sheets to the respective schools/colleges in the name of justice is not being followed?
