NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 16: The Lakha Road police arrested a man on Saturday for allegedly killing his teenage daughter and a young man on the pretext of Karo-kari.
Lakha Road SHO Shaukat Kabir said that the suspect, 50-year-old Shahdost Brohi, shot and killed 15-year-old Durre Bakht, his daughter, and 20-year-old Abdul Wadir Brohi, a relative, on the premises of his house in Kahkhri village on Saturday.
Police said that the suspect had been arrested at his second house in the village, adding that a double-barrelled gun was also seized. SHO Kabir said that victim Abdul Qadir Brohi was a relative of the suspect.—BoC
