SAHIWAL, March 23: A flower exhibition and food street were inaugurated at Kinan Park on Saturday morning on the second day of spring festival celebrations here.

Several government and non-government organisations had set up their stalls, which were being visited by hundreds of citizens daily.

The flower exhibition was inaugurated by DCO’s wife Sadia Zulfiqar. Assistant Commissioner Saba Asghar and TMO Tariq Mahmood were also present on the occasion. The two events will continue until Sunday (today).

A mini marathon race was also held from Jinnah Hall to Comprehensive School Chowk, participated in by more than 100 athletes.

Muhammad Akram won the race, while Muhammad Adnan and Zulfiqar Ahmed came second and third, respectively. EDO (Finance and Planning) Saqib Ali distributed prizes among the winners.
