QUETTA: The politics of the PML-Q is focused on issues and the party will continue to make efforts for highlighting and resolving the problems being faced by the nation.

These views were expressed by PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Syed while talking to journalists here on Monday.

They said the PML-Q was active and united and was confident of winning enough seats in the polls to form the next government.

They said caretaker governments at the centre and in the provinces should ensure that elections were held as scheduled and in a free and fair manner.

The PML-Q leaders said the selection of the caretaker prime minister from Balochistan was a good omen and assured retired Justice Mir Hazar Khan Khoso of the PML-Q’s support.

They expressed the hope that nationalist political groups in Balochistan would not boycott the elections.

They said the PML-Q after intra-party elections had got a good team in Balochistan which they hoped would

play an active role in resolving issues faced by the province.

PML-Q’s provincial leaders Jafar Khan Mandokhel and Mir Asim Kurd were present on the occasion.
