TAXILA, March 26: A timber trader was shot dead while another man was abducted on Tuesday, local police said.
In the first incident, two men riding a motorcycle shot dead Akhter Gul, a timber merchant, at his wood stall in Muneerabad area of Wah Sadadr. The body was handed over to his relatives after an autopsy at the tehsil headquarters hospital Taxila.
A citizen, identified as Allah Ditta, was kidnapped from Nogazi area in the limits of Taxila police. The police have registered separate cases and started investigation.
