ISLAMABAD: A special provincial anti-corruption court, hearing the case over a multi-billion-ruppee scam in the National Insurance Company scam, issued on Monday non-bailable arrest warrants against seven accused in the case including former federal minister for commerce Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Fahim, DawnNews reported.

Other accused in the case include former federal commerce secretary Salman Ghani, Amin Qasim Dada and Javed Saeed (directors of NICL) and Khalid Anwar Khan.

All accused were booked for allegedly causing huge financial losses to the exchequer by violating rules in the selling a piece of land in Korangi area in Karachi.

The court issued arrest warrants against the Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and six others which were non-bailable until April 12.
