KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that his party’s election manifesto promising to empower people contains solutions for basic problems being faced by the people and that it will help ensure progress, prosperity and stability of democracy in the country According to a party statement released from London on Monday evening, Mr Hussain termed the manifesto, which was released by MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar at a press conference in Karachi earlier in the day, realistic and practicable.

The MQM chief invited intellectuals, columnists and journalists to offer their comments after a thorough study of the manifesto.

Talking to members of the MQM’s coordination committee by phone, he also asked the youth, students and people belonging to different spheres of life to study the manifesto.
