YouTube: wanted urgently

I REQUEST the federal and provincial caretaker governments to kindly lift the ban on YouTube. The entire nation is being deprived of a channel that provides so much information.

If the government cannot reach an agreement with Google, in no way should the punishment be awarded to the citizens.

It is the responsibility of the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority to build software to filter profane content and enter into a new agreement with Google and Internet service providers.

However, the first thing that should be done by the caretaker government is to lift the ban on YouTube on an urgent basis.

It's high time we unblock YouTube. We could've used YouTube to protest against the blasphemous video by posting videos to enlighten the world. Instead we chose to put ourselves in the dark.

The question is about the future of our youth. Youtube is a new phenomenon in Pakistan where less than 4% of population has access to internet. We dont want blasphemous material be freely distributed inside Pakistan. So i support the ban on youtube.
