PESHAWAR: The outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) distributed leaflets in Peshawar's suburban areas of Salman Khel and Mashoo Khel on Monday warning teachers against performing election duties on May 11.

The leaflets were also received at the residences of several school teachers which warned them of 'dire consequences' in case they performed their duties on election day.

The pamphlet issued by the Darra Adma Khel chapter of the TTP also warned the citizens at large from participation in the electoral process.
