LAHORE, May 8: Two Pakistanis judokas — Shah Hussain Shah and Zunair bin Zahir — have improved their international rankings.

Shah Hussain has improved from 72 to 42 out of a total 231 on the International Judo Federation (IJF) list issued on May 6, said an IJF press release.

Shah’s progress in the international rankings came in the wake of his winning third place in the Asian Senior Judo championship held in Bangkok.

Also, Zunair made a little improvement in his position moving from 174 to 166.

Karamat Butt at 263 and Syed Samiullah at 238 are other two judokas who are also on the list.

Among women Humaira Ashiq (187) and Fouzia Mumtaz (154) are on the IJF list.
