Militants attack checkpost in Kurram region

PESHAWAR: At least three security personnel were killed in a militant attack on a checkpost in central Kurram tribal region on Friday, DawnNews reported.

Moreover, security officials told Dawn.com that nine militants were also killed in retaliatory action by security forces.
