ATTOCK, May 20: A man was killed by his rivals in Jalwal Village of Jand Police station over a property dispute on Monday.

Police sources said Ghulam Abbass was allegedly attacked by his rival Mohammad Shafique with a 12-bore rifle over the dispute and the attacker later escaped from the scene. As a result, Abbas died on the spot.

The police reached the scene upon receiving information, and shifted the body to the tehsil headquarters hospital Jand, from where it was handed over to the relatives after postmortem.

The police have registered a murder case against the alleged killer and further investigations are underway.
