Poor editing! The title does not match the content at all, the ministers took oath, fine, but what about the "catchy" title, any news regarding that?

What could be the reasons of not electing women in the cabinet of ministers ? 1. There is no woman elected / nominated in the KP assembly who has the capability/ capacity to become a cabinet minister. 2. The men elected are "specialists" in their field, so it was impossible to ignore them. 3. The Chief Minister of KP or the (Supreme) Leader of PTI does not think highly of any woman elected or nominated (who nominated them anyway ?) to be included in the team. So much for democratic elections within PTI !! My opinion is that PTI is no different than other parties.....it is all about power politics. 4. Lastly the "men" in the cabinet do not want a woman in their midst....well similar to a jirga...have you heard of a woman in the deciding committee of the jirga?

The energy ministry is given to a man,Sikandar Sherpao, whose father, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, has been telling his constituents over the past nine years that it is his influence and kindness that the people of Tangi tehsil have been consuming electricity without paying bills. Shepao made his latest assertion in this regard at a party rally in Mandani area before the May 11 elections. He said the people of Tangi tehsil would continue to enjoy free of cost electricity until he was alive. The non-payment of power bills has been an excuse for the WAPDA officials to suspend electricity to around 35 to 40 villages from Jindi locality to Koz Behram Dheri near the Malakand agency border for up to more than 22 hours. Some electricity remains suspended for days. The WAPDA officials visit their office in Harichand from 10am to 12pm for two hours and they would not repair a fault until they are offered money by affected residents. WAPDA officials could not be traced in case of a fault, but all of them (50 individuals) could be seen the day they receive salary. Residents say the problem of non-payment of electricity bills has been created by the WAPDA officials themseves. Years ago, they would ask people to pay them money or agriculture products like wheat and gur and they would stop their electricity meters. To date, WAPDA officials collect wheat and gur from farmers and monthly payments from carpenters, tailors, blacksmiths and others who need electricity on a daily basis, but pay no bill to WAPDA. Now residents say they are ready to pay all outstanding dues if WAPDA is ready to repair the system and restore supply to them as scheduled. We hope Sikandar may not follow in his father's footsteps.

Naya Pakistan : Does it mean giving a ministry to a women to shut critics like PPP did to giving it to Firdos Ashiq Awan,Sherry Rehman ,Fahmida Mirza etc? Women should not be a measure of success .If they are we as a country would have been more successful than USA , CHINA ,FRANCE AND JAPAN who never had any women prime minister. No female minister in the KPK government but there are fighter pilots in the country's armed forces. They can fight for the country but cannot take part in governance of one of its area.

Women in KPK are not much competent as compared to the women in other provinces. Moreover, literacy rate is least among women of KPK. But still they deserve a seat in cabinet as this can infuse in them a spirit of patriotism and responsibility.

I think there is no point in highlighting "No female minister in KP as cabinet takes oath." Is it the only sign of the so-called democracy. The good news is that cabinet has taken oath in one of the most turbulent areas in the world.

Off to a not-exactly-flying start. But then, the female fans of Imran Khan should have seen through him long ago. At least they are lucky that the talibans (the "innocent victims" of drones, according to Imran Khan) have not being able to take over all of KP (thanks to our brave soldiers and to the drones - and no thanks to the likes of Imran Khan).

I don't care whether KP cabinet has women or not, what all I care whether this cabinet can deliver or not. Before we start passing judgements we should give them at least six months.

This shows that all the 10 women MPAs of PTI are incompetent. Even Dr Mehrtaj Roghani, an outstanding paediatrician was not considered fit for this job by the PTI Think Tank operating from lahore.

I read an article entitled "The Bravest Women in the World." 'Bravest' because they have to live in a place where women are not only held back, but often abused. Perhaps that's not true. I'm not from Pakistan so how would I know except by what I read and, these days, we never know if what we read is true. All the same, Pakistani women are not envied by most of the world's women. MQM is calling for country-wide strike over a murder. It made me think that this particular group, Imran Khan has just appeased, has made women so helpless and weak that they cannot even protest openly. They would just sob in their rooms. I wonder why Malala is studying, anyway, after becoming educated, and if Imran Khan's Pakistan is sill existing, she would be sobbing and crying in her room, too. I am scared of Imran Khan now. His era maybe just an extension of Zia ul Haque's rule.

Criticism of PTI is unwarranted. Let them govern and show their capability. There would be plenty of opportunity to induct women in the cabinet. Most of the Women who come on reserve seats really do not the Mustard. I admire those women who get directly elected. They justify their presence.

Women should stay in their homes. They should do what they were intended for. if we have women in politics we will have the same problem that we encounter when two or more women get together and gossip and perhaps destroy households in the process. The difference here will be that they may destroy the country.

In ANP government there was a Women Development ministry headed by a woman -- and by God everybody knows -- of all the provinces of Pakistan -- how direly the KPK women NEED development. The PTI government would rather abolish the Women Development ministry altogether than have a PTI woman or even a JI woman - head it. That's WHY there is no ministry headed by a PTI woman in Imran's Naya Pakistan.
