KARACHI, June 18: Four ships carrying ethanol, containers and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Wednesday, said a KPT source.

Alice Rickmers and Huyundai General were berthed on Tuesday. While northern Power, Amber Arrow and Hanjin Durban sailed out and Delfa, Bulk Arrow, Beacon SW, Santa Rosa, Hyundai General and Stolt Endurance were due to depart.

A cargo volume of 125,800 tonnes comprising 78,221 tonnes of import and 47,579 tonnes of export was handled.

Following ships are due to arrive on Wednesday: Oriental Marguerite with ethanol, Northern Prelude and Pona with containers and King Success with general cargo.

Port Qasim KARACHI, June 18: Two ships carrying containers and steel coil arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, three ships carrying containers, LPG and diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage.

Four ships Nysted Maersk, Sam Tiger, Titan and African Orchid were busy in loading and offloading containers, cement and steel coil.

A cargo volume of 67,118 tonnes comprising 33264 tonnes of import and 33,854 tonnes of export was handled.
