Sindh Governor and CM meet President Zardari

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilwal House here on Saturday.

Law & order in the province with special reference to the situation in Karachi's Lyari was discussed during the meeting.

President Zardari adviced for the continuation of the reconciliation process.

In this regards, he instructed the provincial chief minister to contact the top leadership of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and to invite them again to join the provincial government.

Later, the meeting was joined by Senator Rehman Malik, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah, Sindh's Information Minister Sharjeel Memon and other senior officials.

Moreover the overall situation prevailing in the province was also discussed during the meeting.
