DADU, July 22: Drama writer and historian Aziz Kingrani has appealed for protection from two accused Ghulam Nabi and Qurban Lund who were nominated in the murder of his brother Nasrullah Kingrani.

Talking to reporters at Dadu press club, he said on Monday that four armed men had shot dead Nasrullah Kingrani when he was coming to the village of Manik Kingrani from Johi town three months ago.

A case was lodged with police nominating four people in the killing of his brother. He said Johi police had arrested Yousuf and Ali Bux Lund, but the two others Ghulam Nabi and Qurban Lund were at large and were threatening to kill him and his family members if the case was not withdrawn.

He said they were roaming freely in Johi town carrying weapons and creating harassment in the area and alleged that they had support of police officers and political persons.

He appealed to the Sindh IGP to arrest the accused and provide protection to him and his family.
