Official sources said a security forces' vehicle carrying Frontier Corps (FC) personnel coming from Tank towards the Gomal Zam dam turned turtle near the latter when it was negotiating a sharp turn and fell into a ravine.

Sources added that six FC soldiers died in the accident.

The personnel's bodies were later retrieved from the site of incident and shifted to a nearby hospital.

The security men were travelling from North Waziristan tribal region's Miramshah area towards Bannu, on a routine patrol, when the vehicle they were in met with an accident on the Bannu - Miramshah road in Baka Khel.
