LAHORE, Sept 16: Personnel of a sensitive agency picked up two people who were with a woman member of the Sindh Assembly in a car on The Mall on Monday, sources said.

The legislator alerted police after the incident.

Police sources told Dawn that the legislator was travelling with the two men when the personnel in a vehicle intercepted them. They bundled the two men into their vehicle and sped away.

They said one of the two men was said to be an alleged criminal who was wanted by the Karachi police in cases of extortion and robbery.
