Rs35m paid to militants for release of doctors

QUETTA, Sept 22: Over Rs35 million was paid to Taliban militants for the release of three doctors belonging to Loralai, sources said on Sunday. They were set free on Saturday.

The government officials had claimed that the doctors were freed without payment of ransom to the kidnappers.

“There is no truth in the officials’ claim that the doctors have been freed after successful negotiations between local tribal elders and the militants and that no ransom amount was paid to the kidnappers,” the sources said, adding that the ransom amount of over Rs35m had been arranged by the doctors’ relatives and friends.

Loralai Civil Hospital MS Dr Mohammad Anwar Shabozai, Dr Nasrullah Ghalzai and cardiologist Dr Ayaz Ahmed had been kidnapped, along with two paramedical staff, by armed men in Gawal Ismailzai area of Qila Saifullah district on gunpoint on June 12 when they were going to Zhob.

Now the Militants have become Self-sufficient in terms of finances generated by Ransoms and Robberies. Outside Financial Help was required only for Launching the Militancy. It is now very difficult to crush even by stopping foreign financial aids to militants. The use the ransom money for further operations including further kidnappings and other acts of terrorism and purchase of weapons. Its almost going to grow geometrically until it shall be destroyed by itself when there shall be nobody left to pay them the ransom. Then they will kill each other. But it will take time and lives of all who have some money or status. Stone Age shall not be easy even for Militants at the end. After looting all they shall not be able to stop the devastating End.

Someone should have planted a Bomb in the suitcase full of cash. I wont be surprised if some of this cash lands in the pockets of officials.

This is a very good example of Nawaz that what he is doing in Pakistan. He wants to make the Pakistan, most beautiful country. The Pakistan has no money. The people are not getting Benazir family support funds. The poor can not afford food. No support for the floodeds. He has obtained two large loans from IMF. He has increased the price of petrol, gas, electricity, railway, buses, taxes. He is going to make a highway from China to Gawader, buy electricity from the surrounding countries, import coal, gas, air plains, railway engines. He is going to give free education to the poor, Rs 10,000 monthly reward, lap tops to the students and easy loans up to 5 lacs for business. His friends are India and USA. He is a brainless person.
