LAHORE, Oct 2: Pakistan qualified for the three-nation U-19 Rugby Championship final as they overwhelmed Afghanistan 44-6 on the first day of the event at Punjab Stadium here on Wednesday.

For Pakistan, Fahad Ali and Usman demonstrated their skills in the first half of the match. Fahad scored two whereas Usman added one try and conversion each.

Pakistan will take on India in the final on Saturday.

India, meanwhile, reached the final after getting a bye as Uzbekistan squad could not arrive in Lahore due to some technical reasons. —Sports Reporter
