TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 15: A woman allegedly served poisoned milk to her two children, one of whom later died, before taking her own life at Gojra on Tuesday.
According to Gojra city police, after a quarrel with her in-laws, Muqaddas Bibi, wife of Arshad, spiked milk with poison and served it to her eight-year-old son Yahya and two-year-old daughter Yasra. She also took the milk afterwards. They all fell unconscious and were being shifted to Gojra THQ Hospital when Muqaddas and Yahya died. The condition of Yasra was stated to be critical. — Correspondent
