With Karan Johar-Ekta Kapoor's Badtameez Dil postponed till next year, Kareena Kapoor is focusing on Karan Malhotra's 'Shuddhi'. And TOI has learnt that the actress will be sporting two different films styled by Manish Malhotra.

A source told TOI: "The film will be set in two different eras - one in the 1910s and the other in the 1960s. Kareena needs to lose some weight and tone up for the role and she is already undergoing vigorous training."

The film, touted as one of the most ambitious projects of Dharma Productions, is scheduled to go on floors in December. The source added: "Manish has been given the mammoth task to recreate costumes of two eras. He has already started work on the 60s look. Bebo will be seen in traditional and modern clothes. Karan will first shoot portions of the 60's era and then go back in time. Manish is constantly in touch with Kareena about the look and she will do the look test as soon as she returns from Beirut."

Kareena returned to Mumbai yesterday and will soon fly to Beirut where Saif is shooting for Kabir Khan's next directorial. - TOI
