QUETTA, Nov 6: Driver of a long vehicle carrying a container and another person died in an attack in Khuzdar area on Wednesday.

Levies Force officials said the vehicle carrying Nato goods was going to Karachi from Kandahar. It came under attack when it reached near Khuzdar. As a result of firing, driver Jaffar Khan and a man identified as Ishtiaq Ahmad received multiple bullet injuries.

Levies personnel rushed to the site and immediately moved the injured persons with the help of the FC troops to the District Hospital Khuzdar. However, both of them succumbed to injuries during treatment.—Staff Correspondent
