SUKKUR, Nov 14: A man stranguled his teenage sister to death with the help of a relative over suspicions she had relations with her cousin in Dato Khan Rind village near Jacobabad late on Wednesday night.

Police said that 19-year-old Bobi Rind was sleeping at home when her brother Daulat Rind stranguled her to death with the help of his paternal cousin Abid Hussain Rind.

They suspected her of having a love affair with her maternal cousin and thought she had stained the family honour, said police.

Police shifted the body to Jacobabad civil hospital, which was later handed over to the girl’s relatives after a post-mortem examination.

The Saddar police registered a case against Daulat Rind and Abid Hussain Rind on a complaint lodged by another brother of the girl, Fakhruddin Rind. No arrest was made till the filing of this report.
