PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has renewed its offer to facilitate outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to open its office in the province for holding peace talks.

Provincial Information Minister Shah Farman reiterated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was ready to provide full security to TTP’s negotiating team during the talks process, according to a handout issued here on Tuesday. The government spokesman said that the KP government would not only ensure protection to them, but also cooperate and provide all facilities to establish its office if it wanted to start talks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that the government wanted result-oriented talks and was ready for all possible cooperation. — Bureau Report
