Mashaa Allah, really something to be proud of. Perhaps the nation needs to understand there's nothing in breaking insane Guinness records like cracking walnuts with head or doing some strange exercises in given time. V must guide our youth to emulate the performances of students from KGS and of students who won top position in Mars One competition. Well done to the students and their proud teachers and parents.

I wish Pakistan's government public schools also send their delegations of talented students to international gatherings like the United Nations' Youth Assembly

Although its my Alma mater..........the end result will be that the majority of these children will land up living abroad but will hold on to the picture of themselves and the Pakistan flag plus the nostalgia that goes with it.

Why not. Talent follows opportunities.

@ahafiz:
its time to rejoice the success of our children. we have to congratulate them for their big achievement but you are trying to spoil the festivity mood by making statements that really don't suit the occassion. why is it that some people only choose to look at the negative side of the most positive things? I think you should ask this question to yourself and probably you won't raise such questions.
GREAT JOB TEAM KGS!!!!!

ditto! Was it an essay competition, a debate, or what? Not clear at all. Who did they compete against? What was the topic, if any?

Apparently, this is a forum where students emulate real United nations people and try to solve problems different than they are accustomed to. From the next year conference which will held in Boston Harvard University:
"delegates will experience the challenges of negotiation by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other decision-making bodies. More than 3,000 delegates and 300 faculty advisors from around the United States and world will convene to confront and debate issues of international import."
"At our sixty-first session, we were thrilled to welcome to Boston delegates from over 35 countries. In committees ranging in size from almost 400 delegates to 15, delegates discussed issues facing the international community from perspectives that were entirely different from their own"

This is run by Harvard University to teach young students the running of United Nations.
From next years conference that will be held at Harvrad University, it states:
"delegates from over 35 countries. In committees ranging in size from almost 400 delegates to 15, delegates discussed issues facing the international community from perspectives that were entirely different from their own. We are so grateful to all those who participated in such an exceptional weekend.

@Tamilselvan:
Nice comment but this has nothing to do with secular Pakistan or women's rights. Israel is another country that was based on religion but is supported by West and thus is doing good. Pakistan is an amazing country that is hated because of its massive talent and incredible people. Indian prospers today because of foreign investment and to counter China in that region. People given economic opportunity living peacefully will prosper and India is reaping the benefit of that situation. If India was situated in a region where interest is to acquire resources was prime then it will see a lot of upheaval too. Having said that only Pakistan can free itself of USAID and other agencies providing AID to Pakistan that are influencing its core and culture.
