KARACHI: Police defused a 25-kilogram bomb from a bus-stop in Karachi’s Saeedabad area on Tuesday, DawnNews reported.
On receiving a tip-off about a suspicious bag, police summoned the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team personnel.
A 25-kilogram bomb was recovered from the bag — and was successfully defused. Moreover, ball bearings and nuts were also used in the making of the bomb.
According to the police, the bomb if exploded could have caused massive destruction.
