Pakistan's spy action thriller, Operation 021, is set to release later this year on Eid-ul-Azha.
The film has been produced by Zeba Bakhtiar and her son Azaan Sami Khan, in collaboration with Australian director Summer Nicks.
Launched as a project of One Motion Pictures, the film has Shaan Shahid starring as the lead actor, with supporting roles played by Shamoon Abbasi, Aamina Sheikh and Ayub Khoso.
Filmed mostly in the remote rural areas of Pakistan, Operation 021 is scripted to address the political events in Pakistan and bring awareness to the Pakistani audience.

Pakistani movie trailers and sound effects are better than the movies themselves. Movies are more like drama serials on steroids. Nothing gripping in them.

I mean seriously guys, please try to make movies based on something other than this. Pakistan is getting its fair share of bad publicity already. Please try to show the world the good side of our country.

Depressing movies of a depressing society. Had there been joy and happiness in any area then there would also be light and entertaining movies. Now they all will be after this one theme only. When infact there should be movies on every theme. And the movies can't make a country's image better. It's the good policies which alas this country lacks.

Todays cinema is all about money. You can't just depend on Social movies. look how much money
PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS made and how much AVENGER made.I am disagree to some comments that they are saying Indian movies all about masala. There are hundreds of inspirational movies out there,so watch only those movies which are inspirational. why watch CRAP? I think SATYAMEV JAYTE's(tv show) each episode alone equivalent to one movie on social issue.

They should get a talented actor like Shah Rukh Khan if they want to make a good film. Sadly no Pakistani actor have talent and only good for cheap pashto films. Works will not take us seriously as well do not have any talented actors. Sad reality of our film industry

It's good that Pakistan is making good movies and I am so glad that they are not copying Indians but the ne Pakistani movies are better than some Hollywood movies. I wonder when this new movie will come to uk? Waar was a great movie but by the time it was launched in UK a lot of people watched it on you tube so it's a good idea to launch it sooner.

@Suq Madieq What a load of rubbish. How many Pakistani films have you ever seen. The problem with us Pakistanis is that we never appreciate our own talent. Shaan is the best.

As good as it sounds I believe this s going to be another success in the new era of Pakistani film making.
Shan and shamoon being class actors i hope they dont get sucked into every movie. We must produce fresh faces with good acting skills.
