Extremely sad to hear that. He was undoubtedly a creative and innovative guitar player as one can notice in songs like raag neela. This also shows how fragile and unpredictable life is. Lets always remember our own end. RIP Hashmi !

Deeply saddened to hear about this. He was a good musician and even a better human being. I had the pleasure of playing along with him and Farhad in their Mind Riot days, always brimming with ideas and creativity. A good decent bloke,my heart goes out for his young family.May Lord have mercy on his soul and grant relief to the family.

Life is a very precious thing, it should not be wasted, not even in his wildest dream Haider Hashimi may have thought of going so soon yet it happened & it will happen to every living soul. May Allah have mercy on him & pardon his sin.

May Allah give his family and loved ones the strength to be able to bear this sudden loss.
Havent heard their music in a while but I clearly remember voting for Aaroh in Battle of the bands.
