Mosques attacked in Panjgur

QUETTA: Gunmen opened fire at two mosques in Panjgur district on Tuesday night.

According to Levies officials, the attackers who had come on two motorcycles stopped outside the mosques in Khuda Abadan area and opened fire. People were offering Traveeh prayers at the time.

There was no casualty.

The attacks created panic among people in the mosques.

Law-enforcement personnel rushed to the site, cordoned off the area and launched a search for the attackers.

The motive of the attack could not be determined till late night.
