Assuming the rapist really did rape the child, well done! Make an example out of this.

First they say we don't give punishments to such violent crimes. Now they will start screaming that we should not given such punishments.
Such violent people should be given the most extreme punishments.

It's a shame that undeveloped regions like Sibi are handling these cases than the ones in mainland Punjab. Proud of this ruling.

The death sentence is meaningless if not executed. The present moratorium on death sentences must be lifted for convicted rapists and terrorists. Moreover, their appeals and other remedies must be dealt with swiftly, if the death sentence is meant to be deterring.

wow.............. as of now, alternate nobel winner Asma Jahangir will take her guns out in the name of her so called 'human rights' being violated with such hangings.... but one thing must be sure the victim is being punished in true spirit of this punishment. and if Asma spits out her venom then she must be made accountable in any court of law if such court exists who is not afraid of such people..

The execution must take place while the verdict is fresh. This shall be the lesson to all who play with the life of women and young girls.

I am little perplexed on this judgement and the emphasis on " hanged thrice " , according to the rule of morality in general and Islamic jurisprudence , a person can only be sentensed for his or her crime ONCE and a Person Can Only DIE ONCE , after that he or she becomes a DEAD Person and under No Moral or Ethical obligations of what so ever , ANY ONE (Including the Justice) can disrespect, descrate or dehuminized a Dead Body ... so How on Earth , this " to be Hanged Thrice " sort of Court/justice order can Ever be Implemented in all practicality and ethical manner ? ? ? Unless , instead of One Rope around his neck , the executioner , Puts 3 consective Ropes around his neck ? Would it be considered 3 hangings or Just ? HOW PRACTICAL SUCH AN OBSECURE JUSTICE ORDER CAN BE CARRIED OUT , WHICH FALLS AFOUL OF MORAL , ETHICAL , HUMANE AND OFF COURSE RELIGIOUS RULES ... CAN SOME LAWYER PLEASE EXPALIN !

Justice should be done to all. Issue is not the religion, a cast, creed, ethnic origin- a criminal is a criminal.
A due process of the law should be followed, for all.
Government should expedite the process of justice to safe guard the rights of the victims, and send a signal to the society and to the criminals that the lives, and property of every citizen is sacred.

@Imran Khan the hanging actually does imply hanging 'till death' and not hanging 'till dry'.

@hammar . humans are humans..a rape is a crime against humanity, doesn't matter, be it christian, jews, hindu, muslims or atheist..anyone who is involved in such a hideous crime should be punished in such a manner..
